SUPERNAUGH SCHOLARSHIPS

The Supernaugh Scholar program is open to anyone who has never been to a Ranger Rendezvous. Due to an increase in direct donations to the scholarship program, we are able to select six scholars to attend Rendezvous 49. Scholars receive five nights of shared accommodation, a $500 stipend to defray their cost of attendance, free conference registration and a one-year membership in ANPR. Scholars will support various aspects of the Rendezvous through assigned duties. The application period will open in the summer. More information will be available here on June 15, 2026.

NEW THIS YEAR: JIM BRADY SCHOLARSHIP FOR NPS PERMANENTS!

ANPR is searching for new to mid-career professionals who are currently in the workforce to join us this year, and we want to ease the way.  The Jim Brady Ranger Rendezvous scholarship, named for the organizer of the first Ranger Rendezvous in 1977, was established in January of 2026 to assist early-career NPS professionals with attending RR. This scholarship will cover the costs of RR registration, free shared accommodations during RR, free ANPR membership for one year and up to $300 for travel expenses reimbursed with receipts. Up to 10 scholarships will be awarded for each RR.

All NPS permanent employees with no more than five years of total NPS service are eligible. Service time includes seasonal and permanent time. You must be a current permanent NPS employee to apply.

To apply, submit an essay, not to exceed 600 words double spaced, outlining why you want to attend RR and how you plan to apply what you learn at RR in your position with the NPS. Please include your name, along with your personal phone number and personal email address, and a summary of your NPS work assignments (duty station and job title) with dates.

Essays, along with your contact information, will be accepted beginning June 15, 2026 by email to Board Treasurer Rick Harwell  and must be received no later than August 1, 2026. The selection committee will make decisions and notify winners no later than September 1, 2026.

Questions, please contact the selection committee.

Current plans for field trips include (subject to change):

NEW T-SHIRT OPTIONS

Our members asked and we have heard you! This year, we will off short-sleeved AND long-sleeved T-shirts for our members with direct-to-garment printing, meaning your logo won't feel like a sheet of plastic on your back!  The choices will include an athletic grey and forest green. Go to the add-ons section of registration to make your selections. T-shirt orders will be available through RR registration through October. 7. If you miss the deadline after Oct. 7, you may order direct from our gear provider, Hubnotic.

Examples of the shirt front and back, and the colors, are below (short-sleeve back, short-sleeve front, long-sleeve back, long-sleeve front):

RAFFLE AND AUCTION DONATIONS

As usual, we will be hosting a silent auction and raffle drawings on site, AND an online auction this year, so you can bid on the prize you want and not leave it up to chance. All donations are greatly appreciated. Please contact our Board Member for Fundraising, Jenn Cook, here to provide tax-deductible donations. The online auction will be up and running in mid-summer, and we will be adding new items frequently.
