Save the date: Ranger Rendezvous 46

This year's Ranger Rendezvous takes place in Jacksonville, Fla., Oct. 15-22, 2023, at the scenic Southbank Hotel Jacksonville Riverwalk. Pre-RR training is Oct. 15-18, and the full RR program is Oct. 19-22. The following training sessions are being planned:

• 12 hours - Initial Response Incident Commander Course
• 32 hours - NAI Certified Interpretive Guide training
• 8 hours - NPS Fundamentals 
• 4 hours - Personal Finance Management 
• 4 hours - Communication skills 

Field trips are planned for Friday, Oct. 20, to:

• Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve (including Fort Caroline National Memorial and the Kingsley Plantation)
• Castillo de San Marcos National Monument and historic St. Augustine
