Disaster relief available to ANPR members for wildfire relief

The Association of National Park Rangers created a Natural Disaster Relief Fund in early 2023 to help those affected by the increasing numbers of natural disasters occurring in the country and the world. The Natural Disaster Relief Fund is a member benefit available to any ANPR member in good standing. Any ANPR member impacted by wildfires or aftermath of other natural disasters is encouraged to apply for support through ANPR's Disaster Relief Fund.

What it is: ANPR’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund: Any ANPR member in good standing is eligible to apply for and receive aid to help in the recovery following a natural disaster that has directly impacted their life. This fund is an ANPR member benefit, and the amount of aid will be based on the needs of the individual.

How to apply: Applications should be submitted to the ANPR Secretary Demmy Vigil, at dvigil@anpr.org. Applications should provide justification for funds needed for immediate and critical safety and life support.

How to donate to the ANPR Relief Fund: To help sustain this vital program, the Association of National Park Rangers is calling on donors to contribute to the ANPR Natural Disaster Relief Fund. Donations of any size will directly support affected park rangers and their families. Contributions can be made online via the ANPR website at http://www.anpr.org/donate.
